Most chibis are too short to show unique body structures & that's not the point of them anyway, so they are all drawn with the same basic shape, whichever is preferred by their artist. You want to develop your own system of drawing them.

I recommend looking up chibi tutorials and dissecting chibi drawings to learn the basic structures used. Whenever you can use a more rounded shape, do so avoid sharp edges. Shines and glows, pleasant color schemes. You also want to prioritize pretty rendering and aesthetics.

3.5-4 heads allows more detailed costumes and poses. 2 heads tall is flatter and more expressive, suitable for cute charms or icons. There are a few specific styles of chibi depending on how many heads tall the character is. Unlike anime, the proportions are so stylized that even the most basic anatomical landmarks get thrown out the window in favor of cuteness and flexibility. The chibi style is called SD or "super deformed" in Japan.

They're based on physical toys, so every layer is very thick and meaty, suitable for pour molding or 3D printing. It's more important that you understand form / drawing and shading 3D shapes for chibis.
